Eva Halland

CarbonGeo Consulting and a prominent expert in carbon capture, utilization, and storage.

She has extensive experience in the field, having previously worked with the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) for several decades. Halland is a geologist educated at the University of Bergen and has played a significant role in managing and advising on CO2 storage projects. She is also involved in various CCUS initiatives and organizations, such as Climit and NORSAR, contributing to the advancement of CCUS technologies and regulatory frameworks globally .

Akihiro Nakamura

Akihiro Nakamura is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Possability, having taken on this role in 2023. With extensive experience in environmental planning and public policy, he holds a Master of Environmental Planning and a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Tasmania. Mr Nakamura has also worked as international Relations officer in RITE, a japanese government institusion that conducts research and development in areas such as CO2 capture and storage (CCS), bio-refinery technologies, and global warming mitigation systems

Cathrine Ringstad

​Cathrine Ringstad is a Senior Advisor for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) at Bellona, an international environmental NGO. She holds a civil engineering degree in physics and mathematics and a PhD in petroleum-related rock mechanics from NTNU. With a strong background in petroleum-related R&D, particularly in rock mechanics, geophysics, and reservoir technology, she previously worked at SINTEF focusing on CO2 geological storage. At Bellona, she is part of the CCS team working on carbon capture and storage technologies.

Marco Carrasco is the CEO and Founder of CarbonCause, an organization dedicated to advancing CCUS technologies to combat climate change. With over a decade of experience in the renewable energy sector, he leads initiatives aimed at achieving the net removal of CO2 from the atmosphere, with a goal of permanently eliminating one gigaton of CO2 globally. Additionally, Marco is a licensed attorney in California and Mexico, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to his work in environmental sustainability.
